My notes app was getting Crowded

Starting a blog has been on my mind for a long time. I’m throwing myself into this because I’ve always loved telling stories. The fact that words or an image can make someone feel a certain way still blows my mind.

I’ve been carrying stories around with me, half-written and kept tucked away in journals or the notes app of my phone. It finally feels like the right time to give them a place to live.

As a photographer, telling stories in visual form is easy. However, there’s something about writing that has always been a little more challenging. It’s something I’d like to improve at and I see no better way of learning to do something, than by doing it. Lucky for me, I’ve always had a hard time sitting still.

This blog is my way of making sense of it all. A place to share the stories behind photographs, my wildest travel adventures, and explore what inspires me.

Here’s what I imagine this blog will turn into.

• What I’m creating: Photography and creative projects.
• Things I’m obsessed with: What I’m reading, listening to, and watching. Basically anything that inspires me.
• Other things in my life: Travel, backpacking, hiking, camping, skiing, investing, etc.

This won’t always be polished but I don’t think I want it to be.

My hope is that by documenting these pieces, I’ll begin to understand a little more about what it means to build a life led by curiosity.

This is the start.
